Who can join, who sees what and what ends up in the gallery. You decide, for every event.

Random link or custom link

By default your event gets a random link that is practically impossible to guess. If you like, it gets a readable custom link instead, such as event.pics/wedding, easy to remember for posters, invitations and social media. Neither variant is listed anywhere or indexed by Google. A custom link is, however, easier to guess than a random one.

Access codes with their own permissions

When creating the event you set up an access and decide whether visitors can view, upload and download. Downloading always requires viewing. You can create several accesses, for example one for the family including a family album and one for all other guests. For most celebrations a single access is enough.

Approval before publishing

Optionally, every photo and video must be approved by an admin before it appears in the gallery. If you like, you get a push notification as soon as something is waiting. Uploaders see their own picture immediately, marked as “Not reviewed yet”. Ideal for larger celebrations and company events, when you want to know what lands in the gallery before everyone sees it.

Multiple admins possible: You can make other people admins who approve uploads and manage the event. The creator keeps all rights and is the only one who can delete the event.

Everything you need to know about EventPics

Create an event in seconds, share the QR code or link with your guests, and they upload their photos directly – without registration. All images land automatically in your private gallery.

As the event creator you need an account to create and manage events. Your guests do not need an account – they simply scan the QR code or open the link in the browser. No registration, no email required. It works instantly on every smartphone.

No! Guests can scan the QR code directly in the browser or open the link. Downloading the app is optional – it also works directly in the browser. As simple as possible for everyone.

Very secure! Transport encryption via HTTPS, GDPR-compliant storage (for EU users within the EU) and fine-grained access control. Only invited people with link/QR or code can see content. In the free plan, content is deleted after the event phase expires. After expiry there is a one-week recovery window before permanent deletion. With Premium, content is retained indefinitely.

It depends on when you start the event: with an instant start, the event phase ends after 6 weeks. If you set a planned date (up to 12 months in the future), there is first a planning phase – uploads and downloads are already possible but limited, ideal for preparing QR codes for table cards. The event phase starts 2 weeks before the date and ends 4 weeks after. You receive a reminder email in good time before the event expires. With Premium the event is retained indefinitely.

Images: JPEG/JPG, PNG, GIF (incl. animations), WebP (incl. animations), AVIF, SVG (partial support). Videos: MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, MPEG-TS (.ts).

Yes. An event can have several accesses, each with its own rights for viewing, uploading and downloading. That way the family can reach an extra album while all other guests only see the main gallery. Downloading is only possible together with viewing.

Besides you, other people can be admins: they approve uploads, create albums and change settings. Deleting the event is reserved for the person who created it.
